About the OperationKiruna Ore Processing's mission is to refine ore from the mine into finished products. The main parts of the process are drying, concentration, and pelletizing. The department consists of eight sections in total, four of which are part of the main process and the remaining four are support sections for quality, technology and process development, material processes, and maintenance.

Your Role
We're now seeking a production manager for mechanical maintenance at Concentration Plant 3 and Pellet Plant 4. As production manager, you're responsible for personnel, work environment, and finances within your operation. You lead a team consisting of day shift and shift-rotating mechanics plus two maintenance supervisors. Together, you ensure that mechanical maintenance is conducted safely, efficiently, and with high quality to create good equipment availability in the facilities. The role involves close work with planning, follow-up, and operational development, where you and your team drive improvements and contribute to the facilities' future development. Safety is always the focus, and you're a present leader who creates engagement, develops employees, and drives the operation forward.

Upper secondary education is required; post-secondary education is considered a merit
Swedish, spoken and written, is required
Class B driver's license is required for all positions at LKAB
Leadership experience or previous management role is a merit
Experience in mechanical maintenance and/or as a mechanic is a merit
Knowledge of the refining process is a merit
