Production Manager – Ekeby, Skåne, Sweden Are you a people-focused leader with a passion for efficient production processes and a positive team atmosphere? At our site in Ekeby (Skåne, Sweden), you will lead a motivated team and ensure the efficiency and performance of our production lines. We are an internationally growing company producing high-quality bakery products for markets around the world. Our factory operates in a bilingual environment where both Swedish and English are used daily. You will be a key contributor in a committed team where ideas are welcomed, the pace is fast, and the atmosphere is warm and supportive. Your responsibilities Daily production leadership — overseeing day-to-day operations and managing 4 shift supervisors. You coach all production employees (30 FTEs) toward a continuous-improvement and problem-solving mindset. Operational coordination — organizing, coordinating, and following up on activities within the production department to meet targets for quality, efficiency, workplace safety, and cost control. Process monitoring — tracking production parameters and processes, ensuring optimization where needed. Daily kick-off management — leading the daily production meeting, ensuring smooth information flow and follow-up of action points. Technical collaboration — working with the Plant Manager to ensure machinery and technical equipment perform optimally; initiating and implementing technical projects and upgrades. Cross-functional teamwork — collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. Deputy Plant Manager — stepping in during absences or holidays to ensure continuity in operations, leadership, and prioritization. What we expect from you Strong people leadership — you know how to motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Technical background — preferably a technical education or equivalent experience. Production expertise — good understanding of production flows, quality systems, and technical processes; experience in the food sector is a major plus. Communication skills — fluent in Swedish and English. Solution-oriented mindset — strong analytical ability, decision-making skills, and experience driving technical projects from start to finish. Structured working style — experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean. Team-oriented approach — you thrive in a role combining hands-on work with strategic thinking.
