In your role as Production Manager, you report directly to the Site Manager and are part of the local management group, where you are an important part of developing the operation and contributing to strategic decisions for the facility's continued development.
About the Role
As Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for one of the operation's largest production organizations. You lead production through Area Managers and are responsible for creating conditions for a safe, efficient, and well-functioning operation. The role involves a clear focus on leadership, results, and long-term business development, where you drive improvements in productivity, quality, and profitability.
As a member of the local management group, you actively contribute to the facility's strategic development and work closely with other functions to ensure that the operation's goals are achieved.
Responsibilities
Responsible for production results within safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and economics.
Lead, coach, and develop the organization's Area Managers.
Ensure efficient production planning, optimal capacity utilization, and resource allocation.
Monitor the operation's targets and key metrics and initiate and implement improvement measures.
Drive change and improvement initiatives according to Lean principles.
Ensure compliance with applicable requirements in occupational health and safety, quality, and safety.
Report to the Site Manager and actively contribute to the local management group's strategic work.
Collaborate with other functions to develop the operation and create long-term results.

Qualifications
Several years of experience in a leadership position in manufacturing industry.
Documented experience leading other managers in a large production organization.
Experience with change management, Lean, and systematic improvement work.
Good knowledge of production management, occupational health and safety, quality, and safety.
Good financial understanding and experience working with business management and KPIs.
Very good command of Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
Experience from the automotive industry or other high-volume manufacturing.
Experience from an international manufacturing corporation.
Relevant university or college education in technology, production, or industrial economics.
