Job description As Production Manager, you are responsible for leading assigned construction projects with a focus on production, schedule, and economics. You work closely with the Project Manager and have a central role at the construction site where you plan, lead, and follow up on daily work. The role involves practical and hands-on leadership. You hold daily stand-up meetings, coordinate personnel, subcontractors, and deliveries, and ensure that the project has the right resources. You are also responsible for work preparations, schedules, and ensuring that drawings and documents are available in good time. An important part of the task is work environment and safety. You are responsible for the daily work environment, conduct risk assessments and safety inspections, handle incidents, and ensure that statutory requirements and internal procedures are followed. In case of immediate safety risks, you have the authority to stop work. You continuously follow up hours, costs, and forecasts against the budget together with the Project Manager. You report deviations, drive and document change order work, and ensure correct documentation for invoicing and follow-up. You also ensure that work is performed according to drawings, contracts, and quality plan. This includes planning and following up self-inspections, preventing and handling defects, and participating in inspections and final documentation. As a leader, you are the contact person toward the client, consultants, and subcontractors. You create clear communication in the project and ensure that risks and problems are raised in time. Placement location: Kalmar or Karlskrona. You report to the Project Manager. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in construction production in a corresponding role and who is used to taking responsibility for production, scheduling, and economics. You have a good understanding of construction technology and the different phases of the project, as well as experience working with subcontractors. You have basic knowledge of construction contract law, such as AB and ABT, and are comfortable following up on budgets, time, costs, and deviations. Experience with change order handling, work environment work, self-inspections, and inspections is relevant. As a person, you are organized, solution-oriented, and responsible. You are a clear leader with good communication skills and enjoy creating momentum on the job site. You have the ability to make decisions, prioritize, and speak up in time.
