Take on a leading role in our committed production team and work in a state-of-the-art production environment in Karlskrona.
Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? If you have previous leadership experience and ideally industrial background, and are motivated by leading people in production, this could be the right job for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a central role in the green transformation of our society. Our production is growing and we now need to expand our team of production managers at our main manufacturing facility.
Develop, motivate, and engage
As a Production Supervisor at NKT, your leadership skills will take center stage. You will lead a skilled team of Operators who work on manufacturing our cable cores in the form of copper or aluminum conductors. You will ensure that our resources—people, machines, and materials—are used optimally. You will lead a team where the applied working time is 5-shift, which means production continues even when you are not present.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and will be responsible for, among other things:
• Responsibility for recruitment and development of personnel.
• Ensuring efficient utilization of resources—people, machines, and materials.
• Developing, monitoring, and updating investment and overhead budgets.
• Visualizing and monitoring the department's goals and breaking down and developing these within the department.
• Ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.
Inspirational and engaged leader
To achieve good results and to thrive as a Production Supervisor, you have previous experience leading personnel and an ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at handling challenges with a positive attitude in a changing environment and are good at providing feedback with a professional ability to address different individuals.
As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and view development as the most important factor for sustainable results. You have an interest in technology and enjoy participating in discussions and conversations.
Beyond the above, you have experience leading personnel, worked with SAM (systematic work environment management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement work.
Your CV should contain the following:
• Upper secondary education with a focus on technology or equivalent
• Experience with personnel management in the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a merit
• Swedish and English proficiency in speech and writing
