Procurement Specialist & Manager IT – Consulting Assignment (Stockholm) 📍 Location: Stockholm (on-site) 🕒 Scope: Full-time 📅 Start: August/September 2026 📆 Assignment Duration: Through September 2027 About the Assignment We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist & Manager within IT for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading player in the energy and infrastructure sector. You will play a central role in a comprehensive investment program focused on sustainable technology and digitalization. The role involves responsibility for strategic IT procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, and digital solutions that support business-critical systems, process automation, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with project management, IT, engineering, legal, and external vendors in a complex project environment. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Lead and drive the entire IT procurement process – from strategy to contract award. Develop sourcing and procurement strategies for complex IT solutions. Conduct vendor evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contracting. Ensure procurements are executed according to the project timeline and business objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and operations. Manage contractual matters, documentation, and vendor follow-up. Identify and manage risks related to vendors, deliveries, and regulatory requirements. Report status, risks, and decision-making materials to project management and steering committees. What We're Looking For At least 5–7 years of experience in strategic IT Procurement or IT purchasing. Documented experience with major IT procurements and contract negotiations. Experience in vendor management and vendor evaluation. Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and digital platforms. Experience with procurement systems and digital procurement tools. Experience from large investment projects (CAPEX) is a merit. Experience from regulated operations, for example in cybersecurity or NIS2, is a plus. Personal Qualities We're looking for someone who is: Business-minded and strategic Structured and thorough Independent and responsible Strong in negotiation and communication Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in complex projects Qualifications Master's degree in economics, law, finance, or equivalent relevant education. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven. Practical Information Full-time assignment. Position based in Stockholm. Travel may occur as needed.
