Do you want to develop processes close to production? We are looking for a driven process technician with chemistry knowledge and experience with chemicals for smarter, safer and sustainable ways of working. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you are responsible for developing and following up on processes within anodizing. You work together with production, maintenance and other parts of the organization. You become an important part of our work with quality, safety and continuous improvements and will be part of our process technical department. As a Process Technician, you will have a central and important role in ensuring a stable, safe and qualitative anodizing process. You work close to production and are at the same time a driving force in long-term development and improvement work. In the role, you participate in and drive development work within the anodizing process, with a focus on both raw materials and process baths. You follow up on existing procedures, ensure that they are correct and complied with, and identify, handle and report deviations. An important part of the work is to carry out measurements and analyses in the production environment and to monitor and control process baths, rinsing and treatment plants, and when necessary make required adjustments. You are also responsible for mixing and checking tool lye as well as managing the recovery of lye returned. The role also includes ongoing dialogue with the municipality's treatment plant regarding, among other things, sludge dewatering and treatment of reject water. You will be close to production and have continuous dialogue with shift teams regarding the quality of anodizing products. Through visual inspections, sampling, anode tests and inspections of layer and gloss meters, you contribute to ensuring high and consistent product quality. You also identify errors and potential operational disruptions and ensure that these are reported to maintenance. The role also involves active participation in projects, process improvements and 5S work. You contribute to developing and implementing process-oriented training within the department and help initiate and prioritize efforts that strengthen the department's strategic development. Together with colleagues and other parts of the organization, you work systematically with continuous improvements and with developing our ways of working and processes. You also have an important responsibility for ensuring that environmental requirements and internal environmental and energy goals are met. The role encompasses overall responsibility for the department's goals, quality and order and cleanliness, while you actively contribute to a safe working environment and a sustainable external environment. Within your area of responsibility, you have the authority to drive necessary activities and make decisions within given financial frameworks. With your competence, your commitment and your process technical focus, you become an important part of our continued work on development, quality and continuous improvements. PERSONALITY AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a vocational or process technical education at academic or upper secondary school level, combined with broad technical competence and experience from process industry. You have knowledge of chemistry and experience working with chemicals, and you enjoy working "hands on" close to production and its processes. Experience with process development and systematic improvement work is a merit, as is knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. As a person, you are driven, engaged and goal and results oriented. You take initiative, see opportunities and are motivated by developing both processes and ways of working. You have the ability to drive and follow up on improvement work, while at the same time being responsive and having a natural ability to collaborate with others.
