We are now seeking a process technician for a long-term assignment with one of Sweden's leading players in socially critical infrastructure. About the role As a process technician, you will be an important part of the daily operations and development of an advanced process facility. You work closely with the operations organization and are responsible for monitoring processes, analyzing operational data, and contributing to ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with operations personnel, maintenance, project organization, and external suppliers. Examples of work tasks Monitor and optimize processes in daily operations Monitor and analyze process data and identify deviations Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analyses Prepare proposals for improvement measures and process development Assist with test runs, start-ups, and process changes Create and update technical documentation, instructions, and procedures Participate in investment and improvement projects Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project organizations Work actively with quality, environmental, and safety matters Who you are To succeed in this role, we believe you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You have a genuine technical interest and are driven by understanding relationships, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to stable and efficient operations. You enjoy collaborating with others, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to prioritize and make well-founded decisions even when the pace is high. You should have: Post-secondary education in process engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent Experience from process industry, water and wastewater operations, energy, chemistry, food, or similar operations Experience with process monitoring, operational follow-up, or process development Good technical understanding and experience analyzing data and process flows Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Good computer and system skills What we offer This is a long-term consulting assignment with an well-established operation where you get the opportunity to work with advanced process engineering, contribute to socially critical functions, and develop together with experienced colleagues in a modern technical environment.
