About the Role
As a process operator with us, you'll work both from the control room monitoring operations and hands-on in the facility. You drive, analyze, and improve the process – every day.
This is not a standard production line where everything is already defined and set. Instead, you become a vital part of developing how the process will be controlled, run, and optimized, while working with your team to ensure safe, efficient, and stable operations. The role also includes real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving – both practically in the facility and using various system support tools – as well as contributing to continuous improvements in quality, work methods, and technology.
You'll work closely with colleagues in production, engineering, and development – and your insights are important as we take the next steps. Your main responsibilities are to:
· Monitor and control the process from the control room and in the facility
· Safely manage startup, shutdown, and operation of various process sections
· Troubleshoot when issues arise and use analysis tools as support
· Ensure product quality through sampling and analysis
· Perform preventive maintenance and participate in maintenance shutdowns
· Work actively on safety, organization, and improvements in production
About You
We're looking for someone with experience from the process industry who thrives in an environment where not everything is pre-defined. You have several years of experience from the process industry. We'd like to see a background in process engineering, operations, or similar.
You're experienced working with process control, preferably in DCS systems, and your work approach is characterized by initiative, problem-solving, and strong collaboration skills. You also have a strong interest in learning new things and developing alongside the technology. You must be fluent in English in speech and writing, and it's an advantage if you also speak Swedish.
The position primarily involves intermittent 3-shift work, but will transition to continuous operations.

About TreeToTextile
Sweden-based TreeToTextile drives positive change in the textile industry by providing next-generation cellulose fibers for a sustainable planet. Together with our committed owners Lenzing AG, H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso Biomaterials, and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile is developing a renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fiber with attractive properties and low environmental impact, accessible to all. The fiber has the potential to complement or replace portions of the cotton, viscose, and polyester markets.
In 2023, TreeToTextile started the Demo facility in Nymölla, and in June 2024, the first bale of fiber was produced. To make the fiber available in the global market, the next step is to build a smaller full-scale facility somewhere in Europe, followed by several mega-sites globally over the coming years.
TreeToTextile currently has about 60 employees. Beyond our own staff, we have a large ecosystem of collaboration partners including strong support from our owners, consultants, development partners, and more.
