Your Role As a Process Operator at Boliden Bergsöe, you'll have an important role where you contribute to both a sustainable environment and efficient production. Bergsöe is one of the Nordic leaders in lead recycling, and here you'll help shape a sustainable future. In this role, you'll work in our Breaker – the part of the facility where incoming car and truck batteries are pre-treated and separated. It's an important first step in our recycling chain and a prerequisite for the residual material to be refined later and turned into new lead products. As a Process Operator, you ensure that production in the Breaker runs efficiently, safely, and with high quality. You plan, control, and monitor processes and equipment, follow up on production and quality through rounds, inspections, and reporting, and handle deviations and simple maintenance. You work closely with your team and other departments – together you create a safe, structured, and pleasant work environment where order and safety are always in focus. The position is full-time and involves work in two shifts. Your Team You'll be part of a team of six operators total, with three people on each shift. Since the entire team meets at every shift change, you'll have natural check-ins and close dialogue with all colleagues. The group has an open and positive climate where you support each other, share knowledge, and work closely together in daily operations. Your Tasks Monitor and control production and equipment Follow up on quality and report deviations Perform rounds and inspections Troubleshoot and perform simple maintenance Actively participate in development and improvement work Your Contribution We're looking for someone with a technical interest and a background in process or industrial operations. You're engaged, hardworking, and enjoy taking initiative to improve both work methods and processes. You work independently and in a structured way, while also valuing collaboration with colleagues to reach our common goals. With a focus on safety and quality, you help create a safe work environment and stable production. We're looking for someone with: Upper secondary education in process, industry, or technology Experience from process industry Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English Category B driving license It's a merit if you have previous experience with preventive maintenance as well as a forklift license and/or wheel loader license.
