Process Operator

At our facility in Örnsköldsvik, which is part of Functional Chemicals AB, Performance Formulations, we produce additives for paint and building materials. Our main product is Bermocoll, which functions as a thickener in water-based paint or as a water-binding agent in mortar. As a process operator, you will collaborate with other process operators, production engineers, maintenance technicians, and production management. You will monitor equipment according to our internal safety procedures. Health, Safety, and Environment are prerequisites. The role involves continuous shift work, documentation of availability monitoring, operational disruptions, and other important information. In your future role as Process Operator, you will: Monitor / control and optimize the process Participate in root cause analyses Maintain production according to the production plan Conduct equipment rounds and write notifications and initiate maintenance actions Participate in developing and documenting standardized work methods Contribute to improvement work through conducting rounds and risk analyses Forklifting We believe you have: Completed upper secondary education in engineering / science / process industry Good IT skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English Class B driver's license It's beneficial if you have: Work experience from process industry or equivalent industry Post-secondary education in process industry Forklift certification We believe you are: A person with good collaboration skills who enjoys working together with others to achieve common goals. You have a holistic perspective, take responsibility for your tasks, and work methodically and carefully in an operation with high safety requirements. As a person, you are receptive, take initiative, and have a desire to continuously develop. You work independently while contributing to your team's success by sharing knowledge and driving improvements in work methods and processes.
