Process Operator

About the Role As a process operator, you work practically with managing the treatment process at our water treatment facility and assist in other parts of our plant. You ensure the facility operates as it should on a day-to-day basis, monitor results, and make adjustments where needed. While keeping operations stable, you also ensure we meet environmental requirements and contribute with improvements that make the process safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Examples of Tasks: - Monitor and manage the water treatment process and perform certain operator maintenance at the facility - Take samples and perform simple analyses (e.g., pH and conductivity) and follow up on other analyses (e.g., TOC, phenols, sludge levels, nitrogen, PFAS) - Adjust settings and equipment to maintain stable treatment - Troubleshoot and correct operational disruptions - Participate in improvement work for more efficient and energy-efficient operations - Collaborate with colleagues in operations, laboratory, and engineering - Document and report in our systems - Plan preventive maintenance - Carry out tasks within our internal quality controls - Receive incoming materials and perform quality checks on the materials Working hours are 07:00-16:00, Monday through Friday. You're good at communicating, confident in making data-driven decisions, and you take initiative and make things happen. If you also have an interest in sustainability and long-term process development, we're likely a good match for this role. Qualifications: - Relevant post-secondary technical education, e.g., in water and environmental technology, process industry, or biotechnology - Experience with process monitoring, analysis, and control systems - Basic IT skills - Class B driver's license Experience from a similar role is a plus, and we also view positively if you have a forklift certification and training in Hot Work.
