Research and Development Northeast (FoU Nordost) is a research and development unit owned by the municipalities of Danderyd, Norrtälje, Vaxholm, and the municipal association for healthcare and care services in Norrtälje, together with Region Stockholm. FoU Nordost works to ensure that practice-oriented research, development work, and implementation of new knowledge form a driving force across all areas of social services, as well as in adjacent healthcare in Region Stockholm, with the goal of strengthening knowledge-based social services.
We support the municipalities in their transition work ahead of the new Social Services Act and development toward good and accessible care. During 2026 and 2027, we are also implementing a special initiative for implementing the new dementia strategy in a unique cross-regional collaboration.
FoU Nordost is a relatively small unit where we help each other with both operational and strategic matters, big and small. The unit is in an exciting development phase where you become part of the whole, with good opportunities to influence both your own work and the unit's development within our mandate. We are located in pleasant office premises in Danderyd Center, with the possibility of some remote work.
FoU Nordost is now seeking reinforcement in the form of a process leader who enjoys working close to practice, is stimulated by varied tasks, and wants to contribute to the development and increased knowledge of our owner organizations!

WORK TASKS
As a process leader, you will have a key role in driving development, knowledge-based working methods, and collaboration within our owner organizations' operations. You will work both strategically and operatively with issues that form a central part of our mission and become an important link between various development initiatives, research environments, and other actors.
Your main responsibilities:
• Support owner organizations' operations in their local development work
• Plan and conduct development projects reported through appropriate products and deliverables
• Together with research leaders, drive and conduct research projects
• Plan and lead processes within defined issues that are part of the operation's mandate
• Collaborate with key persons in owner organizations, with authorities, and other relevant actors
• Conduct environmental monitoring and environmental analyses within relevant subject areas
• Arrange activities and forums for knowledge dissemination directed at owner organizations' employees
QUALIFICATIONS
We would like you to have:
• Relevant university degree for the position, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, nurse, occupational therapist, psychologist, physiotherapist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Several years of practical experience from work in social services or healthcare.
• Work experience at a strategic level in social services or healthcare in a role as investigator/project leader/methods support/quality developer, as a manager, or similar position.
Meritorious qualifications include:
• Master's degree or higher degree in the above area, or if such education is ongoing.
• Practical experience working with and leading collaboration between municipalities and regions.
• Experience organizing and leading participatory workshops and training initiatives.
• Experience working with quantitative methods, analyzing data, and presenting results in an understandable way.
• Experience with evaluation and systematic follow-up work, such as individual-based systematic follow-up (ISU).
• Knowledge and experience of working with implementation processes.
To succeed in this role, you need the ability to take initiative and create new relationships, as several of our assignments involve building and developing networks and collaborating with others. You are comfortable working both independently and together with others to achieve jointly set goals. You are organized and have good ability to organize, plan, and complete your work. Since a large part of the assignment is about conveying knowledge and leading workshops and meetings, it is important that you can communicate in an engaging and clear way that creates interest and participation. You consider it important to stay updated in your field of work, take in new knowledge, and pass it on in a pedagogical way.
