About Us The Transport Department is part of the Warehouse and Distribution area within the Supply Management Administration and is responsible for a significant portion of the administration's transport operations. The department has approximately 30 employees with roles including unit manager, process manager, coordinators, and drivers. Operations are characterized by close collaboration, both within the department and with other parts of the Supply Management Administration and other administrations within the Region Västra Götaland. The Transport Department works in close cooperation with the Warehouse, Pharmaceuticals, and Materials Administration departments, which are also part of the Warehouse and Distribution area. Looking forward, the ambition is to develop the department's mission and work in a more cross-administrative manner. About the Position As a process manager, you have a central role in developing and improving our processes and working methods within the transport area. The work involves significant personal responsibility and takes place in close collaboration with colleagues within the department as well as with multiple other operations within the Supply Management Administration and Region Västra Götaland. Your tasks include: - developing processes and working methods related to transport, with the aim of increasing service, efficiency, and quality - working in a process-oriented manner to develop, document, and follow up on routines and instructions - monitoring and analyzing the operation's processes and results, and identifying areas for improvement - initiating and driving improvement and development work within the transport area - collaborating with various operations and supporting the implementation and anchoring of new or changed working methods - providing support to managers regarding operational matters and development The role gives you excellent opportunities to develop and deepen your expertise within the transport and logistics area. As part of the Supply Management Administration, there are also opportunities for development within other parts of the administration's operations. About You We are looking for someone with a university degree in logistics or economics, or alternatively other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good computer skills and the ability to work structurally in various digital systems and tools. A driver's license (category B) is required. We consider it highly advantageous if you have worked in logistics, transport operations, or related areas, and have previous experience in process development, operations development, and have worked on developing and improving routines and working methods. If you have worked in the public sector, we also consider this advantageous. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are service-oriented, thorough, and responsible. You have the ability to work independently and drive your work forward, while also being collaboration-oriented and enjoying a role with many contact points.
