About the position
As a Process Manager in Grid Operations, you work with developing, improving, and managing processes for operational work in the control room.
In close collaboration with your colleagues at Svenska kraftnät, you will be involved in developing the grid operations process, which encompasses planning and execution of electrical work, monitoring of facilities, and voltage regulation. The process ultimately aims to ensure good operational reliability for the national electrical system as well as personal safety for those who perform work in Svenska kraftnät's facilities.
The work involves responsibility for one or more parts of the main process Plan and Manage Grid Operations. You lead work within the relevant process together with the process team, drive investigations, and ensure progress on development matters. Within the scope of the process, you navigate between different stakeholders' needs, perform follow-up and incident analysis, and drive improvement efforts and matters related to continuity.
You are a requirements setter for operational projects and IT, and you coordinate with other functions related to operational management. The role also involves close contact with operators in the national control room and participation in forums, working groups, and projects.
You will be part of the Grid Operations Development unit, which consists of 12 employees focused on developing operational management. We collaborate closely and share experiences regarding methods, tools, and approaches. You are a civil engineer or hold a master's degree with a technical focus, or have equivalent education and/or work experience that Svenska kraftnät deems equivalent. You also have:
Several years of professional experience in technical operations
Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as well as good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have knowledge of and experience with:
Work experience in the energy sector, where you have gained knowledge of the electrical system
Improvement work and/or operational development
Process-oriented approach
Control room work

The position is located in Sundbyberg or Sollefteå.
Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid.
Travel may occur.
