About the Position
As a Process Manager within Balancing, you will be responsible for managing, improving, and developing processes for operational work in the control room. In close collaboration with your colleagues at Svenska kraftnät and our counterparts in the Nordic region, you will be involved in developing the balancing process. You will be a requirements setter for operational projects, IT, and coordinator toward other functions connected to the control room. The position further includes, among other things:
Close contact with operators in the national control room and actors on the electricity market
Analyses and investigations for the development of tools and processes in the control room
Continuous monitoring and reporting of operational processes
Updating and establishing documentation such as operational instructions, agreements, and training materials
Ongoing management of invoices and incoming emails in functional mailboxes
As a Process Manager in Operations, you have great opportunities for development. You will broaden your expertise in power system balancing, market development, and process improvement while influencing your role. You will participate in projects, both Nordic and European.
As a Process Manager at Svenska kraftnät, which is in rapid growth and a changing work environment, you will handle several complex challenges. The work will involve responsibility for one or more processes within the main process of operationally ensuring power balance. This will mean that you coordinate operational work, drive investigations, and ensure progress on development matters. You will navigate between different stakeholders' needs, conduct follow-ups and analyses of incidents, and work on matters related to continuity and fallback management.
The unit currently consists of 14 employees who are specialized in different areas while also sharing experiences and working closely together. The unit is responsible for operational processes, which includes work related to market development, processes, and IT tools for balancing, as well as procurement optimization.

Education:
You have a degree in Civil Engineering or a Master's degree with relevant focus, such as energy systems.
You also have:
Good communicative ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
Merits:
We are looking for someone at the beginning of your career or with a few years of professional experience from the energy industry with relevant knowledge of power systems and electricity market functions
Knowledge of balancing markets and the balancing process
Experience from control room work

The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg.
Opportunity for remote work up to 50%, if work allows. #LI-hybrid.
Travel may occur up to once per month, primarily within the Nordic region. The position is a permanent employment. A six-month probationary period may be applied.
