Your Responsibilities In this role, you will step directly into an ongoing and complex heat pump technology project. Your primary focus is hands-on completion, which means you will review existing designs, identify any gaps, and ensure that all process and mechanical solutions align seamlessly with contracts and technical specifications. You will work on reviewing, troubleshooting, and completing several key subsystems, such as refrigerant systems, lubrication oil systems, cooling systems, instrument air, and associated auxiliary and ancillary equipment such as detection systems. Since the project is in an intensive final phase, there are high demands on your ability to work focused under time pressure without compromising structure. You will work closely with project management, suppliers, and internal functions, and become the unifying technical force that ensures documentation, system design, and function maintain the correct quality all the way to delivery. Your Responsibilities: • Operatively drive and execute design work to complete and close open technical items in the project. • Ensure a clear red thread throughout the entire process and system design, including P&ID, component selection, and piping systems for the included subsystems. • Review, quality assure, and structure technical documentation for final delivery. • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are completed on schedule and meet established goals. Your Profile • Engineering degree (technical college or Master's degree) in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or equivalent. • Extensive and many years of experience (senior level) in process design, system design, and mechanical engineering. • Experience in design and engineering of industrial auxiliary systems, with knowledge in one or more of the following areas being highly valuable: - Refrigerant systems / Cooling technology - Lubrication oil systems - Cooling systems - Instrument air - Package and auxiliary systems (e.g., Detection skids) • Documented experience working systematically to complete and finalize complex industrial projects. • Very good ability to structure and quality assure technical documentation and supporting materials. • Experience from the energy sector, process industry, or large-scale power plants is required. • Good knowledge of Swedish as well as good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
