Your Responsibilities As a process engineer, you will play a key role in developing production processes. You will map current state, analyze results, and identify improvement opportunities together with the operations team. You will work on both continuous improvements and larger projects, serving as a connecting link between production, engineering, quality, safety, and maintenance. On major projects, you will be a natural project leader who ensures timely delivery and efficient solutions. The focus is on process development, but the role also includes project management, improvement initiatives, and close collaboration with production. You will work closely with production management, safety personnel, and quality engineers as well as production staff in both Norrköping and Matfors. Examples of work tasks: Lead production renovation projects and coordinate internal and external resources. Develop stable, safe, and ergonomic production processes with efficient workflows. Map current state, analyze results, and identify improvement opportunities in equipment and work methods. Drive small and large improvement projects related to productivity, quality, safety, and target achievement. Develop and standardize instructions, work methods, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Further develop Lean initiatives, daily management, and relevant templates and structures. Create, monitor, and visualize KPIs and use data to support prioritization and decision-making. Coordinate process development between Norrköping and Matfors and build networks with other facilities within the group. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is technically curious and enjoys working close to production. You don't need to be a specialist in all areas, but you should have a good understanding of production environments and the ability to quickly grasp technical connections, analyze problems, and drive improvements forward. We would like you to have: A post-secondary technical education, preferably at the master's level, such as mechanical engineering, production technology, automation, electronics, or equivalent work experience Experience with process development, project management, and/or improvement work in manufacturing industry Experience analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing these in practical measures Ability to create structure and drive change together with the operations team Strong system skills and experience working with data, monitoring, and KPIs Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written The role involves spending some time on the production floor, where you build trust and bring employees along in the change process. You take initiative, build networks, and drive the work forward. At the same time, you are responsive, humble, and adaptable in your collaboration. The position is based in Norrköping.
