It is an exciting industry where a lot is happening – sometimes we build completely new facilities and sometimes we develop and optimize existing ones. 👉 Read more about us and our projects here: AFRY Food Industry About the Role You will become part of a cohesive team of process engineers and project managers working closely with our customers in food manufacturing. The role is based at our Malmö office and is characterized by close collaboration within the team and, when needed, with other parts of the organization. As a Processing Engineer, you will primarily work on full-scope projects, either on our behalf or on the customer's behalf, which includes: Design of process components or complete processes Planning, technical documentation, and specifications Material procurement FAT and SAT You will also have the opportunity to work with: Concept studies Process optimization Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in the field who wants to continue developing within process design in the food industry. You enjoy working with others and enjoy sharing your experience and knowledge. Requirements: Technical education at university level or equivalent acquired through work experience At least 1–3 years of experience as a process engineer in the food sector (we are also open to candidates with solid senior experience and can offer appropriate challenges) Experience with AutoCAD drawing (PID) Very good Swedish language skills and good English language skills, both spoken and written Valid driver's license (Category B) The position requires physical presence at customer sites and travel with overnight stays is a natural part of the role.
