Here you will have a key role in one of our central production sections where operational leadership, safety, and continuous improvements are in focus. About the role As Process Group Manager for L76, you are responsible together with your colleague for leading and developing the operations section so that it reaches agreed-upon goals. You work closely with the Production Manager KBR and serve, when needed, as a substitute for them and for other process group managers. In your daily work, you are an important link between operations and maintenance and participate in planning and prioritizing measures within your area of responsibility, and when needed, also in other parts of KBR. Working hours are scheduled for continuous daytime according to a rotating schedule that includes both weekends and holidays, distributed between two people. The schedule you will work according to is: Working hours: 06:00–16:00 (flexible working hours available) Work 7 days followed by 7 days off For example, start Tuesday morning and end Monday afternoon The role involves broad responsibility ranging from work environment and personnel management to ensuring stable operations, good quality, and continuous improvement work. You lead the work in both daily production flow and during various types of production stops, while also driving the implementation of Outokumpu's management system. Your areas of responsibility You have overall responsibility for your production section, the team members, and the production facility's function. This means that you: lead and plan work for your staff are responsible for work environment and external environment according to delegation order ensure that instructions, safety regulations, and procedures are followed and developed drive and prioritize improvement initiatives coordinate resources within the production section work actively with competence development in the team lead work during planned and unplanned stops Who are you? You thrive being close to operations and have a natural ability to engage and lead others. We would like to see that you have an engineering education, for example in materials engineering or mechanical engineering, or alternatively equivalent experience from a similar process industry. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: experience from production, preferably in heavy industry previous experience in a managerial or leadership role good knowledge of English, both spoken and written As a person, you are analytical, practical, and receptive.
