Process Group Manager Finishing (L2000/L13) – Outokumpu Avesta Do you thrive in a leadership role where you get to stay close to operations, make important decisions, and make a real difference every day? Here you will have a key role in one of our central production departments where operational leadership, safety, and continuous improvements are in focus. About the Role As Process Group Manager for L2000/L13, you will share responsibility with a colleague for leading and developing the operations department to achieve agreed targets. You will work closely with the KBR Production Manager and serve as a substitute when needed, both for this role and for other process group managers. In your daily work, you will be an important link between operations and maintenance, and participate in planning and prioritizing activities within your area of responsibility, and when needed, in other parts of KBR. Working hours are scheduled during continuous daytime according to a rotating schedule that includes weekends and public holidays, distributed between two people. Your schedule will be: Working hours: 06:00–16:00 (flexible hours available) Work 7 days followed by 7 days off For example, starting Tuesday morning and ending Monday afternoon The role involves broad responsibility ranging from workplace environment and personnel management to ensuring stable operations, good quality, and continuous improvement work. You will lead work both in the daily production flow and during various types of production stops, while driving the implementation of Outokumpu's management system. Your Areas of Responsibility You have overall responsibility for your production department, the team members, and the production facility's function. This includes, among other things: leading and planning work for your staff responsibility for workplace and external environment according to delegation procedures ensuring that instructions, safety regulations, and procedures are followed and developed driving and prioritizing improvement initiatives coordinating resources within the production department actively working on team competence development leading work during planned and unplanned stops Who Are You? You thrive being close to operations and have a natural ability to engage and lead others. We would prefer that you have an engineering degree, for example in materials science or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience from a similar process industry. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: experience from production, preferably in heavy industry previous experience in a managerial or leadership position good English skills, both spoken and written As a person, you are analytical, practical, and responsive. You have a clear focus on safety and quality, are well-organized and responsible, and thrive in an environment where tasks and conditions can vary.
