As a Process and Software Consultant at TGW, you will be a key person in our most innovative and integrated projects. You combine deep process knowledge with software expertise to develop intelligent solutions tailored to our customers' operations. You are responsible for translating complex customer requirements into scalable solutions and actively contribute to solution design, cost calculations, and deliveries. Through close collaboration with customers, solution architects, and internal teams, you ensure that each solution is technically robust, meets business needs, and complies with applicable security requirements. Your expertise is critical to creating successful projects, efficient implementations, and long-term customer value.
In this role, you will, among other things:
Gather, analyze, and challenge customers' processes and requirements within logistics and follow market developments and translate this into input for the software development team.
Build and develop customer relationships and ensure that process and software delivery contributes to successful, integrated TGW projects.
Conduct gap analyses and lead Transparency Process in close collaboration with solution architects to determine whether existing product solutions (WERX) or project-specific customizations are most appropriate.
Take responsibility for decisions regarding solution design, including scope of delivery, responsibility allocation, and choice of proprietary or third-party products.
Prepare IT cost estimates, quotation documentation, presentations, templates, and product descriptions.
Develop methods and tools for IT cost calculations.
Respond to IT security questionnaires and coordinate formal responses together with internal and external IT security stakeholders.
Define integrations with external Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure they function in the overall IT environment.
Ensure smooth handover to the project implementation organization through clear transfer of requirements and support business development on process and software matters.
We are looking for you who:
Have good market knowledge of warehouse management systems, such as Material Flow Control (MFC), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Have experience with process design and development of functional specifications.
Have very good knowledge of logistics, material flows, and data flows, combined with relevant consulting experience.
Have knowledge of automation, warehouse systems, and material handling.
Communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Have an understanding of marketing and positioning of software products.
Have good understanding of software solutions within manual warehouse operations.
Have good technical understanding of software and experience programming in high-level languages.
