Then you are right for us. Karlslundsskolan is a well-functioning F-9 school located in central Vallentuna with good access to transportation. The school has approximately 500 students and 80 employees. The school manages all facilities in-house and has a restaurant kitchen. Our vision is to increase accessibility in learning and development for students, where the focus is on learning environments and modern planning that is based on student needs. You will come to a culture where new thinking is encouraged and where we are happy to support you through your development projects with colleagues, with the student in focus. Responsibilities As a clear and trusted leader, you work during school hours with attendance and health-promoting tasks by supporting students and assisting the school's student health team. You work systematically and structurally with student wellbeing. You enjoy building relationships and have an initiative-taking approach. In this dynamic role, you work with students at both individual and group levels, preventively and with a solution-focused approach, for example in conflict management. Furthermore, you can set clear boundaries, show warmth, and are creative and flexible. You guide students onward as needed and collaborate with school staff such as mentors and the school counselor, and other community actors such as field workers and social services. You work activity-based and are present in break areas where students in grades 7-9 spend time. Since the school will be mobile phone-free from autumn 2026, you are responsible for offering other meaningful activities that promote a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable school environment. You are engaged in the student council. In the afternoon, you work with the recreation program for grades 4-6. Here, you contribute together with your nearest colleague to a stimulating and enjoyable activity that is based on student needs and interests and is aligned with the curriculum. You are part of the recreation staff team and receive continuous professional development in the recreation pedagogy field. You are an active person who takes responsibility for completing the different parts of the workday and work to promote the entire school's activities and development. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications You are trained as a recreation leader, social pedagogue, or equivalent. You are well familiar with applicable governing documents. You master the Swedish language both verbally and in writing. It is a merit if you have previous experience in collaboration with various actors with a focus on student health and wellbeing. Personal Qualities You work toward results, show reliability, and take responsibility for planning and following up on your work. You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes, and sharing information. You develop, improve, seek solutions, learning, and knowledge on your own initiative.
