At Mestergruppen, you'll have a key role in ensuring competitive and profitable pricing that strengthens our members' business. As a Pricing Specialist, you're responsible for translating decided pricing strategies into operational pricing and creating conditions for a business-driven, competitive, and data-driven pricing approach across our chains. The role encompasses both shelf prices and customer-specific contract prices and involves close collaboration with purchasing, marketing, chain management, and other business functions. You'll work continuously with analyses, monitoring, and pricing development that contributes to increased profitability and strengthened competitiveness. We're looking for someone who wants to help develop our approaches, contribute new perspectives, and translate analysis into business value. Your Responsibilities Translate decided pricing strategies into operational pricing Administer and maintain shelf prices and customer-specific contract prices Ensure correct and competitive pricing across all sales channels Analyze price levels, margins, sales development, and pricing outcomes Implement price adjustments based on decided guidelines, market conditions, and business needs Work with campaign pricing and campaign follow-up Prepare analyses and decision support for chain management and other business functions Contribute to development and improvement of pricing processes, systems, and approaches Work closely with purchasing, marketing, master data, and the rest of the organization We're Looking for Someone Who Has strong drive, high analytical ability, and genuine interest in commercial development. You thrive in a role where you can combine data, business logic, and collaboration with many different functions to create concrete business results. To succeed in the role, you have post-secondary education in, for example, economics, industrial economics, statistics, or logistics, or you have built up equivalent expertise through relevant work experience. You have several years of experience in pricing, business analysis, or other commercial activities. You're comfortable working with large data sets and have excellent Excel skills. At the same time, you have a good understanding of how pricing, margins, and business economics impact profitability and competitiveness. Operational pricing experience in some form is a requirement, but we don't believe the perfect candidate necessarily comes from the building materials industry. We see great value in new perspectives and experience from other retail, e-commerce, or service businesses. It's a plus if you have experience with customer contract pricing, centralized price management, shelf price management, or working with market and competitor pricing.
