You will teach and mentor our students in the Construction and civil engineering program, with a focus on painting, and together with other colleagues you will be part of a work team consisting of vocational teachers and teachers in common upper secondary subjects linked to the construction and civil engineering program. We see you as an important and driving force to, with the students in focus and in cooperation with colleagues, develop both the program and the teaching. In addition to profession-specific tasks, you, like other teachers at the school, have tasks such as mentor and together you and your colleagues coach the students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We communicate mainly through SchoolSoft and work in a Google environment through sharing of digital documents, calendars and planning. Your profile We are primarily looking for you who are a certified vocational teacher in painting. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. If you lack teacher certification, you have the opportunity to apply for the position. In that case, you and the school's principal will jointly draw up a plan for how you can become certified in the shortest way. The work tasks include contact with businesses since a large part of the students' study time consists of work-based learning (APL) and therefore good communication with employers is meritorious.
