Job Responsibilities
KTH is developing a Lego-inspired design framework called SiLago (Silicon Lego). SiLago forms the foundation for four Chips JU projects and is used to address challenging industrial applications. SiLago is also the basis for two IMEC-funded projects, where it serves as the foundation for VLSI design in CMOS 2.0 and 3D-nanofabric technologies. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to research in synthesis at the algorithm and application levels (algorithm hierarchy). In addition to contributing to the ongoing Chips JU and IMEC projects, you are expected to participate in the supervision of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students within the SiLago group, as well as collaborate with industrial partners, participate in consortium meetings, and contribute to project deliverables.
Qualifications
Requirements
Completed doctoral degree or foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). This qualification requirement must be fulfilled by the time the employment decision is made.
Strong background in electronic systems, computer architecture, digital design, and design automation algorithms.
Strong publication record
Good communication and presentation skills and good knowledge of spoken and written English as required in daily work.
Good collaboration skills, self-directed and creative.
Meritorious
At the application deadline, no more than three years since the doctoral degree or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree was awarded.
Familiarity with LLVM/MLIR frameworks.
Design flow from RTL to GDSII.
Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with particular focus on gender equality
