Your responsibilities Research focus: implementation of an evidence-based digital support program via 1177 for family members of people with heart failure, and user-centered further development of digital support. You will work in an interdisciplinary research project that combines implementation research, digital health, and support for family members of people with heart failure. The project involves implementing an evidence-based digital support program via 1177 Support and Treatment in six Swedish regions. The work is conducted in close collaboration with family members, healthcare personnel, regional administrations, patient organizations, designers, and technical experts. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the implementation of the support program in participating regions. Recruit participants and conduct individual interviews, focus groups, workshops, and survey-based data collection with family members, healthcare personnel, and other stakeholders; registration and data extraction from REDCap. Analyze qualitative data, for example using reflexive thematic analysis or qualitative content analysis, and contribute to analysis of quantitative data and usage data from 1177. Apply the implementation frameworks PRISM and RE-AIM to study reach, adoption, implementation, effects, and long-term sustainability. Contribute to the development of an implementation strategy for national rollout of digital family support. Participate in co-design and evaluation of the program's language, structure, content, accessibility, and digital format. Collaborate with research partners, clinical operations, regional actors, and other partners, and participate in educational and information activities. Write scientific articles, present results at scientific conferences, and contribute to reporting and dissemination to healthcare and society. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be included in your duties, but no more than one-fifth of your working time. Your qualifications To be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have completed a doctoral degree or hold a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed no later than when the employment decision is made. It is meritorious if your degree was completed no more than three years before the application deadline for this position. We are looking for someone with a doctoral degree in nursing, implementation science, or another area relevant to the project. For this position, you must have: Documented experience in qualitative data collection and qualitative analysis. Ability to independently plan, conduct, analyze, and report research. Experience in scientific writing, demonstrated through publications in peer-reviewed journals. Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English in speech and writing, as data collection and collaboration take place within Swedish healthcare while scientific reporting is primarily conducted in English. Good collaboration skills and ability to work in a structured manner with multiple stakeholders and parallel activities. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience in one or more of the following areas: Implementation research and use of established frameworks, particularly PRISM and/or RE-AIM. Digital health, e-health, or internet-based support and treatment programs within healthcare. Co-design, participatory research, service design, or user-centered development. Research on family members, heart failure, chronic illness, self-care, or person-centered care. Survey data, register data, and statistical analysis. Multicenter studies or collaboration with regions, clinical operations, authorities, or patient organizations. Research ethics, data protection, or responsible use of AI in healthcare. You are an independent, proactive, and analytical person who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary and collaboration-oriented project. The work requires that you can build trusting relationships with family members, healthcare personnel, and other stakeholders, communicate research to different audiences, and drive tasks from planning to finished scientific publication. Your workplace You will work at the Department of Nursing, the Department of Health, Medicine and Care at Linköping University. The research environment conducts patient-centered and interdisciplinary research in areas including heart failure, self-care, family support, digital health, complex interventions, and implementation. The project is conducted in close collaboration with healthcare in several regions, 1177-related actors, patient organizations, and researchers in medicine, nursing, behavioral science, sociology, design, and technology. About the position This is a fixed-term employment for two years with the possibility of extension for a total employment period of no more than three years. Employment as a postdoctoral researcher is full-time. Start date by agreement. A background check may be conducted before an employment decision is made.
