Hi! Are you our new Communications Director? Do you want to be part of making a difference for approximately 400 employees, 60,000 tenants, and the city of Gothenburg? Our Communications Director is moving on to an exciting new role within the group. Now we're looking for a new confident leader at Poseidon who, with great commitment and solid expertise in communications, will help us build our operations and brand forward. In your role as Communications Director at Poseidon, you'll work long-term, forward-looking, and collaboratively at one of Sweden's largest public housing companies. Our mission is broad and exciting, extends far beyond apartment doors, and is about creating safety and well-being and contributing to a sustainable, attractive Gothenburg. With your strategic and communicative skills, you'll play a central role in the company and ensure that our communications help create trust, pride, and direction forward. You'll have overall responsibility for our internal and external communications, lead the communications department at headquarters, and steward and develop the company's brand further. You're a clear spokesperson externally and an important support internally – equally comfortable setting a long-term communications strategy as formulating sharp copy. You ensure that communications become part of the operations plan, that our operations plan becomes reality in our communications, and support managers when we're going through change and need to be especially clear, confident, and united. In your role as Communications Director at Poseidon, your responsibilities include: having overall responsibility for internal and external communications working both strategically and operatively – from planning to implementation participating in the management group and contributing to business development collaborating with and participating in networks within the Framtiden Group and the City of Gothenburg being our press contact and participating in the company's crisis management group leading your department with budget and personnel responsibility About Your Team You'll lead an engaged communications department with broad expertise in brand building, editorial communications, marketing communications, administration, and digital channels. You'll also create conditions for communicators in our five districts to contribute to the whole. You participate in the management group, work from our headquarters in Gamlestaden, and report to the CEO. Confident, Action-Oriented, and Attentive Leader We're looking for you if you: have an academic education in communications or similar have several years of experience as a manager leading communications work in a larger organization have experience with successful strategic and operational brand and culture building are experienced in handling media and remain steady even under pressure are a confident, action-oriented, and attentive leader and team player who helps people grow enjoy having many points of contact and building relationships are equally structured as you are visionary and creative see connections and wholes, and can articulate these clearly in speech and writing We see diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences. Quality assurance of the recruitment process for final candidates will take place through occupational psychological tests and background checks.
