We at Poseidon have an important mission to create security and well-being for our tenants and the people of Gothenburg. We are now seeking an accountant with a focus on rental administration and an interest in property management systems. In your role as an accountant with primary focus on rental administration with us, you will be an important support to our districts within rental administration and revenue analysis. One of your tasks will also be to contribute to our project for implementing a new property management system regarding the rental administration component and its connection to accounting, and to support the organization in these system areas. You will be part of the group of accountants and controllers at the company with continuous and organized exchange and collaboration. You will be part of the central accounting department at our head office in Gamlestaden and will report to the company's chief accountant. Your Profile We are looking for you who are an accountant and have some form of post-secondary education or equivalent experience. You should have worked in the real estate industry with similar tasks for a few years and have good knowledge of rental administration. You must have knowledge of accounting and a good understanding of the connection between rental administration and the income statement. Your tasks consist of, among other things: Rental administration primarily related to new construction and renovation projects Setting up properties, rents, and discounts in the property management system in connection with new construction and renovation on behalf of the districts. Maintain and develop routines and manuals Training new accounting staff in property management systems Assisting with testing within rental administration during system upgrades Being backup for other central rental administration tasks. Analysis/review of the status of our rental properties. Actively participating in the project for a new property management system and contributing knowledge within rental administration. Assisting with revenue analyses both at an overall level and down to individual properties. Assisting with documentation for property assessment. You have the ability to understand and familiarize yourself with systems from an operational perspective and specifically within rental administration. You have the ability to independently plan your work and prioritize among tasks. You have a sense of systematically and structuredly driving issues forward with the thoroughness required for the best results. You enjoy supporting operations within your area and have strong communication skills. It is a merit if you have experience with the property management system Fast2 or similar, and if you have experience with Agresso/Unit4.
