The Land Warfare School's (MSS) role is to work together with other parts of the armed forces to create conditions for land warfare units to accomplish their assigned tasks in the best way possible, both nationally and internationally. MSS also performs tasks for the entire Swedish Armed Forces, such as development and procurement of soldier-carried equipment, firearms, and support weapons. Within this framework, the Land Warfare School trains the Swedish Armed Forces' future leaders with the help of advanced training facilities and solid expertise.
About the Position
The positions are located in the Officers' Company, which together with the Specialist Officers' Company, the Training Department, and the Tactics Department, forms part of the Land Warfare School's Training Unit. The Officers' Company is responsible for conducting the work-based training activities of the Officers' Program and the Reserve Officers' Training at the Land Warfare School. The positions are at level SO7/OF2.
Primary Duties
The position involves leading the training of the platoon's cadets in military science, leadership, and defense systems. The platoon consists of a commander, deputy commander, and one or more instructors.
Training methods include, but are not limited to: field exercises, simulators, lectures, seminars, and exercises with live and blank ammunition.
Qualifications
Professional officer or reserve officer
Working area in land warfare and experience within infantry or cavalry units.
Experience as an instructor in firearms training and field training.
Driver's license class B minimum (manual transmission)
Meritorious
Experience training officers.
