Here you'll inspire children to create computer games, test new ideas, and discover how exciting technology can be. About Hemkodat Hemkodat works to make technology fun and exciting for children and young people, especially for girls and non-binary individuals. Through activities for children in grades 3–6, we want to spark interest in technology early and broaden the image of who can work with it. Working as a Leader As a leader, you plan and run sessions where children get to create and have fun with Scratch, Roblox, and Minecraft, among other things. It should feel like a fun leisure activity, not just another lesson. You will, among other things: Teach children to create games and other digital projects Plan activities together with other young leaders Help children when they get stuck and explain things in a simple way Make sure everyone participates and has fun You don't need to know how to program from the start—we'll teach you the basics! However, anything can happen when working with children, so you need to be flexible and solve problems when things don't go as planned. Practical Details About the Job We're looking for leaders for our weekly afternoon activities in Burlöv starting during the fall term. You work at least one afternoon per week Depending on your schedule, you can work multiple afternoons You meet the same group on the same day of the week throughout the term Occasionally there are opportunities to work extra during school breaks The job suits you if you're in high school and want to work part-time after school. You need to be able to finish somewhat early at least one day a week to make it to the activities.
