Mio AB · plný úvazek
Box 59, Tibro, Švédsko
At Mio, the customer encounter is at the core of everything we do. Whether we meet customers in-store, develop our product range, or work behind the scenes at the service office and warehouse, we all contribute to the same goal – creating world-class customer experiences. To succeed, we believe in the power of teamwork. We combine business acumen, knowledge, and passion to develop both the customer experience and our business. Here you'll have the opportunity to take responsibility, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of Mio together with engaged colleagues. About the Role Mio is in the midst of an expansive transformation phase. FlexPLM has been part of our daily operations for several years. Now we're giving the system a clear owner, and that's where you come in. We're looking for a PLM specialist who will own and drive the system from the business side. It's a newly established role, but the work has been ongoing for some time: you won't be starting from scratch, but we have gathered the ingredients to create magic with. The role is part of the Assortment Department, which owns responsibility for our products from development through enrichment to quality. The PLM specialist is the link between the Assortment Department, IT, and external consultants, with the task of understanding business needs, formulating requirements for the supplier to work toward, and ensuring that deliverables meet standards. A holistic view is central: the role spans the entire product journey from idea and qualification, through sales period and quotation work, all the way to phase-out, and requires understanding how each step is reflected in and supported by the system. It also includes understanding dependencies further down the chain toward, for example, our supply chain system. The PLM specialist is part of the project team and participates in weekly progress meetings. Your Main Responsibilities In this role, you're responsible for configuration and ongoing management of FlexPLM, such as product hierarchy, status workflows, field rules, and colorways. You manage Mio's part of User Acceptance Testing during upgrades and are the one who approves deliverables from the business side. You also handle ongoing contact with both implementation consultants and the system vendor through weekly meetings, issue management, and upgrade planning. You formulate requirements and Definition of Done, prioritize the backlog together with IT, and represent the business in decisions about system development. An important part of the role is also change management, where you drive rollout and anchoring of the system within the Assortment Department. You function as a superuser and internal trainer with responsibility for documentation and procedures. More concretely, the role includes: managing system configuration, maintenance, and ongoing issue handling participating in progress meetings, producing monthly reports and Gantt charts formulating requirements, testing functionality, and approving deliverables (delivery acceptance) driving UAT during upgrades leading rollout and training within Mio producing documentation, procedures, and training materials for system use capturing ideas from the organization and translating them into concrete system requirements About You We're looking for someone with solid experience in PLM, PIM, or master data management, preferably from retail or manufacturing. If you have experience with FlexPLM or an equivalent system, this is highly advantageous. You understand the product lifecycle in depth and are used to working in the space between business and IT. You're experienced in writing requirements, testing, and making decisions that are sustainable. You're someone who sees the big picture without losing sight of details. You can formulate a clear Definition of Done, hold a supplier accountable to what's agreed, and still have the ability to step back and ask what the system is really supposed to support. You thrive with driving things forward even when it requires you to coordinate many parties in parallel and navigate change work where the answers aren't always clear from the start. Communication is a natural part of the role. In addition to mastering Swedish, you communicate fluently in English, as parts of the collaboration with consultants and system vendor takes place in English. You're equally comfortable in a technical discussion with IT as in a training session with the Product team. Experience from retail and assortment development is a plus, as is project management experience from technical implementations. The position is located at our fantastic office in Tibro, and remote/hybrid work is not applicable. Mio is one of Sweden's leading furniture and interior design chains with stores throughout the country. Since 1962, we've helped people create homes to enjoy and continue to develop our offering, our customer encounters, and our business for the future. Our vision is clear – to be the largest in Sweden for furniture and to be present in every room, in every home. If you want to be part of the journey, you're warmly welcome to Mio.
