Site Coordinator / Project Coordinator - Large-Scale Industrial Project

We are seeking an experienced Site Coordinator for a comprehensive industrial and infrastructure project in the Stockholm area. This assignment is ideal for someone with solid experience in site management, contractor coordination, and technically complex facility projects. You will have a central role on the project site with responsibility for coordinating daily activities and ensuring that work is carried out safely, on schedule, and to the correct quality standards. Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week Assignment Period: August 24, 2026 – July 31, 2027 Extension Possibility: 6 + 6 months Location: Stockholm area Travel: May be required Languages: Swedish and English About the Role As Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating facility and modification work on-site. You will serve as a vital link between the project organization, contractors, subcontractors, and other technical functions. The role includes work related to foundations, concrete, installations, and technical facility modifications. Your Main Responsibilities - Coordinate and follow up on daily activities at the work site. - Ensure that work is carried out safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality standards. - Serve as a central point of contact between the project team, contractors, and subcontractors. - Monitor contractors' work, performance, and progress. - Identify deviations, risks, and potential delays, and drive appropriate actions. - Provide technical support and contribute to resolving site-related issues. - Ensure compliance with technical requirements and safety and quality standards. - Assess how changes may impact cost, schedule, and quality. - Coordinate interfaces between different contractors, disciplines, and project functions. - Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from the work site. - Ensure that documentation and follow-up are correct and up to date. - Proactively identify and manage risks that could affect project execution. We Are Looking for Someone With - At least 7 years of experience in site coordination, site management, or equivalent in major industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects. - Documented experience coordinating activities on work sites and managing or monitoring contractors and subcontractors. - Good understanding of construction and installation methods as well as facility modifications. - Experience working systematically with safety, quality, schedules, and risk management. - Strong ability to coordinate multiple parallel activities in technically complex projects. - Good problem-solving and decision-making ability in situations requiring quick decisions. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project management, technical specialists, and contractors. - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Particularly Meriting Experience and technical understanding within: - Flue gas condensate and condensate treatment systems - Heat pump technology - Energy and process facilities - Foundation and concrete work - Installation and modification of existing industrial facilities Education A degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is meriting. If you lack formal academic education, extensive and documented experience in site coordination and execution of large technical projects may carry equal or greater weight. You thrive in close contact with operational activities and have the ability to create structure even when multiple activities are underway simultaneously. You work proactively with risks and issues, are comfortable in contact with contractors, and have a clear focus on safety, quality, and progress. About the Assignment This is a long-term consulting assignment on a major technical investment project with the possibility of extension. The work takes place primarily on-site and the role involves close collaboration with both the project organization and external contractors.
