Your assignment as Site Manager In your role as Site Manager, you lead asphalt projects from start to finish. You have overall responsibility with personnel and results as part of your focus. As Site Manager, you are responsible for a team of foremen and skilled workers and you manage multiple projects in parallel, in an operation with high tempo and rapid adjustments. You have commercial responsibility for customers, which means you develop and maintain customer relationships, both existing and new. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that work environment and safety efforts are a natural and integrated part of production – not something that happens on the side. You act when something is not right and ensure that production can continue safely, even as conditions change. The role will involve travel in West Sweden, primarily to visit the projects you lead. Placement is at our facility in Gothenburg. You report to the Operations Manager within the Industry Division. Who are you? To be successful in this role, we see that you have several years of experience in a similar position where you have worked with asphalt projects. You have a good understanding of how asphalt and construction operations are conducted in practice and know what is required to manage projects with quality, safety, and profitability. Additionally, you have experience working with complex projects of significant scale. We see that you have: Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility Knowledge of contracts and construction law and how these are applied in projects Good understanding of project economics and how financial results are monitored and improved Experience working closely with customers and developing long-term customer relationships Requirements for the position are a Class B driver's license and fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. We consider it highly advantageous if you have previous experience working on projects with the Swedish Transport Administration. It is also advantageous if you have experience with new customer development or business development.
