Do you have a strong interest in prefab and experience with major projects? Do you enjoy heavy lifts, handling large cranes, and want to be part of an exciting journey? Then you now have the opportunity to be involved in building one of Sweden's most extensive construction projects. We are facing a historic transformation as heavy industry shifts gears and paves the way for a fossil-free future that creates significant value in economics, technical development, and the environment.
We are now seeking a driven Site Manager with knowledge of prefab to join our team in this Megaproject in Gällivare. Your colleagues commute from various places in Sweden and have now begun an exciting journey where new challenges, new knowledge, and great camaraderie are developing.
The Role of Site Manager Prefab
As Site Manager for prefab constructions, you will have a coordinating role within the project.
You will be the coordinating link within the project that connects the prefab supplier, the client, and NCC's sub-projects. You ensure that prefab work is carried out within the agreed time, quality, and cost frameworks. Your work as site manager includes planning, production budgeting, risk assessments, financial follow-up, various production methods, and leadership.
You work closely with production management, procurement, and other stakeholders to optimize production processes. Furthermore, you handle customer contacts and are responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met and creating new business opportunities. In some cases, you also participate in tender work.
We strive to work in an open and learning culture where everyone shares their experiences and knowledge. You also have every opportunity to increase your knowledge through our internal training programs.
Your Profile as Site Manager Prefab
You currently work as a Site Manager or Contractor Engineer/Project Engineer and have several years of experience from construction production. Good planning skills, both short- and long-term, are a decisive skill for success in the site manager role.
You have construction engineering education and good knowledge of contractor law.
You speak and write Swedish and English. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.
It is a merit if you have experience working with frame completion or are a certified assembly manager, or have worked as a project manager for a frame supplier.
You thrive in a leadership role and understand the importance of setting clear goals for your project and communicating this to your colleagues. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with your colleagues and to build teams that work well together. You do all this with a good sense of humor!
To become part of us, you need to stand behind our values: Honesty, Trust, and Respect, and understand the importance of working with inclusion and diversity in the organization.
