As a site manager with us, you become a key player in our projects. You lead construction and infrastructure projects within roads, utilities, ports and industry. You have operational responsibility – from groundbreaking to final inspection – and you have a strong team and an experienced organization behind you. Here's what you'll do as a site manager: As a site manager at Svevia, you become a key person in our projects. You lead the work from start to finish and ensure that everything runs smoothly – from planning and budgeting to quality and working environment. The role involves close collaboration with customers, colleagues and subcontractors, where your leadership and structure make a difference every day. Your main areas of responsibility: Lead and plan projects from start to finish Ensure that working environment, safety and environmental concerns are always prioritized Manage budget, production calculations and production planning Monitor finances and progress on an ongoing basis – with monthly forecasts and results tracking Ensure documentation and quality according to contract, project goals and Svevia's management system Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners Personnel responsibility for construction workers Work closely with project manager, foreman, project engineer, surveyor, construction workers and subcontractors Contribute to the development of Svevia's operations The role involves business travel depending on where projects are located. Position is at our office in Gothenburg. Who are you? You are a confident leader who can combine structure with business drive. You thrive with responsibility and are used to keeping production together – both operatively and financially. You create clarity for your team and act professionally towards clients. To succeed in the role, we see that you have 3–5 years of experience as a site manager within construction and infrastructure. You have led projects from bid to final inspection. Beyond that, we see that you have: Three years of experience as a Bas-U certified Completed projects with budgets between 10–100 million kronor Experience working on contracts in high-traffic environments and work with utilities Worked on investment projects for the Swedish Transport Administration Good knowledge of AMA, AB04 & ABT06 Construction technical education – or equivalent experience Good Swedish in speaking and writing, computer skills and B driver's license. It is a merit if you also have experience with Leadership of utility installations, district heating, sewerage and stormwater Turn-key and collaborative contracts Work in urban environments Road construction Finishing work MAP or similar calculation and monitoring systems You are a role model for employees and staff on the work site regarding proactive work with safety and working environment.
