We need to strengthen our operations in Civil North in Norrbotten with an experienced site manager with concrete expertise for our ongoing and upcoming projects. As a Site Manager at NCC, you will have an important role in driving our projects forward – from idea to reality, while contributing to creating sustainable solutions for society's future. The role of Site Manager Concrete As a Site Manager at NCC, you have ultimate responsibility for project planning, finances, cost control, resource allocation and project execution with a focus on quality, time and budget. Working with contract management and forecasting is an important part of the role and essential for successful project delivery. You manage both small and large projects and receive support from a competent team of site supervisors, contract engineers, surveyors, skilled workers, subcontractors and specialists in areas such as procurement, design, occupational health and HR. Projects vary within concrete work, construction and heavy industry. You are a present leader who enjoys being out in production to support our employees and contribute to good cooperation and well-being on site. Read more about working as a Site Manager at NCC: Site Manager at NCC Your Profile To succeed and thrive in the role of Site Manager, we are looking for someone with experience from a position as Site Manager on projects with a focus on concrete. You are a good leader who creates and maintains a good relationship with the client, while having the ability to coordinate both your own resources and our subcontractors. You have post-secondary education within the field combined with work experience. We would like to see that you are confident in a leadership role, can inspire and are receptive to your employees. You promote a good working environment and have the ability to delegate and set requirements. Furthermore, you have a solution-oriented approach, the ability to see the big picture and enjoy applying your knowledge in practice. We would like to see that you have experience with project sizes from 100 million kr and above and that you have a good understanding of partnership and collaboration projects. You have knowledge of construction law and hold concrete class 1. About Civil North Our Civil North division works with land, construction and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 500 engaged employees divided into seven production manager groups within our geography covering Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Värmland. Additional Information This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period. The role requires regular physical presence at our project sites, and we are therefore looking for someone who lives – or has the possibility to settle – in Norrbotten County. Our initial projects are within daily commuting distance from Älvsbyn, but weekly commuting to other project locations may occur later. Start by agreement. A driver's license category B is a requirement for the position. This position will be subject to background checks in accordance with NCC's security culture.
