Here you'll find outdoor activities, sports, crafts, shopping, events, cultural history, food, and accommodation. Everything surrounded by manor houses, red cottages, the mill, the stable, and the works park that give Högbo its character and remind us of its past. Each year, half a million visitors come here to enjoy life and challenge themselves. The 100-hectare works area is both a historical site and a modern living works. This is where the iron mill developed that would become the starting point for the steel company Sandvik. The Högbo Bruk area is owned, managed, and developed by Högbo Bruks AB on behalf of Sandviken Municipality. At Högbo Bruks AB, 100 people work, the vast majority through labor market policy measures. JOB DUTIES Högbo Bruks AB is seeking a Site Manager who is passionate about developing people and leading and developing work teams and operations at Högbo Bruk. We want to continue to be Sandviken's green lung with the best possible conditions for recreation, leisure, and outdoor activities with the human at the center. This role suits you if you enjoy varied work with great opportunities to influence and develop. The position primarily involves leading and directing work and development across Högbo Bruk's various departments, and if you're practically inclined yourself, that's a definite merit. We have everything from workshops and carpentry to various park and service teams. Common duties: · Responsibility for operations, personnel, and work environment. · Together with supervisors, lead daily work with operations, maintenance, and care. · Plan, lead, and drive construction and renovation projects in the area. · Maintain close contact with partners, both in the form of contractors and regarding our labor market initiatives. · Conduct procurement and purchasing within operations. · Financial follow-up. · Collaborate with other administrations and companies within Sandviken Municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with experience leading people and operations. Experience in property management or the construction industry is a merit. You enjoy varied tasks, independent work, and have great patience. Good collaboration skills and an open mind to differences will take you far at Högbo Bruk. Many people here work through labor market policy measures, and it's our collective responsibility to strengthen each other and thus promote each individual's personal development. Listening, inspiring, and motivating others comes naturally to you, as does setting boundaries and making quick decisions. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and adapt your work to the conditions and resources provided. It's important that you have good communication skills both verbally and in writing. Driver's license Class B is a requirement as we work across a large area. The role also includes some evening and weekend work. Employment form: Permanent employment.
