Key Responsibilities
As a Site Manager for Welding, you hold overall operational responsibility for project execution on-site, with a particular focus on welding operations and quality of work. You lead daily operations and ensure that projects are driven according to plan, with the right methods, resources, and safety levels.
The role involves close collaboration with welders, subcontractors, project management, and customers. You monitor welding work and ensure it is carried out according to applicable requirements, standards, and that quality and documentation maintain the correct level throughout the project.
You create structure on-site, drive work forward, and handle deviations as they arise together with the project manager. Work takes place in an environment where pace is periodically high, and your ability to prioritize and make decisions is critical.
The position involves travel and work on various projects throughout Sweden.
Examples of responsibilities:
Lead project execution on-site, focusing on welding operations
Plan, coordinate, and follow up on welding production, resources, and subcontractors on the project site
Ensure quality in welding work according to requirements, standards, and drawings
Ensure work environment, safety, and regulatory compliance
Monitor production, schedule, and productivity, and manage deviations
Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Experience with welding operations in an industrial environment
Experience leading work on-site or in production/projects
Desirable: Experience from pulp and paper industry or similar heavy industry
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
B-level driver's license

You work in a structured manner and follow up on your responsibilities, while remaining flexible when circumstances change.
You have a natural ability to collaborate with different functions and professional roles on-site and communicate clearly about requirements, priorities, and expectations. With a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, you drive work forward and ensure that quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.

Start: Immediately, subject to notice period
Location: Northern or Southern Sweden; extensive travel is part of the position
