One of the Army Headquarters' focus areas is building the new Army. An army that focuses on the Army's field capabilities and in doing so build new as well as restructure existing units. In parallel, the Army Headquarters leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Headquarters develops and leads military combat units within the Army as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools. The above combined with continuing to establish the Army Headquarters as a cohesive and unifying force means that the work tasks are very varied, developmental and dynamic. Information about the position The Army Headquarters is its own organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces where the Technology and Maintenance Office for Land (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Procurement Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization and material maintenance economics within the Swedish Armed Forces, as well as ensuring that materials are maintained in accordance with system objectives. TVK Mark consists of five material system sections and one coordination section. The coordination section in turn consists of three details, the Production Control Detail, the Preparation Detail and the Material Requirements Detail. The Material Requirements Detail is where this position is located. Work tasks In the position as Planning Engineer, you are responsible together with your colleagues at the detail for analysis, planning and monitoring within the Swedish Armed Forces' support process for material and supply procurement (MOF). This means ensuring that information reaches the right place, is used correctly and contributes to efficient use of resources so that the right material reaches the right user at the right time. The work often involves seeing the big picture and prioritizing and proposing solutions. Main work tasks: Represent the Army Headquarters in dialogues, staff work and functional management regarding material requirements planning within the army, towards OrgE and other TVK/TVA. Represent the Army Headquarters in dialogues and staff work with the Armed Forces Headquarters regarding material requirements planning at the Armed Forces level. Represent TVK Mark internally at the Army Headquarters, in various meetings, preparations and working groups representing material requirements planning (both regarding GRO and KRO). Functional management and monitoring within TVK Mark regarding material requirements planning. Participation in the development of methods and support systems within the function's area of responsibility. Qualifications Experience with material requirements planning in the Armed Forces regarding KRO and GRO, in the support systems PRIO and LIFT Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Good knowledge of the Office package Class B driver's license Meritorious Work with material requirements planning at regiment level or in central staff Work at a logistics unit or regiment staff equivalent (4-function) Work with Technical Service or MOF in the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and PRIO Work with material requirements planning LUKO (formerly MFO) Previous work at TVK, TeK or FMV Personal qualities As a person you have a good ability to see wholes, plan and work together with others to build necessary bridges between different parts of the organization. You are creative, problem-solving, task-focused and have good analytical ability. Furthermore, we see that you are curious and enjoy developing and being challenged.
