About the Role Do you want to help shape the future of the planning function within one of Sweden's leading logistics operations? Martin & Servera Logistics is currently undergoing comprehensive development of its strategic planning work, where new system support, unified working methods, and a stronger focus on analysis create the conditions for a more efficient and data-driven operation. As Planning Director, you'll have a key role in this development journey. You have overall responsibility for planning, analysis, and monitoring of operations across all warehouse locations. The role combines a strategic perspective with operational engagement where you'll have the opportunity to build and establish a shared specialist function for planning and monitoring. You'll be an important driving force in harmonizing staffing and capacity planning, developing shared processes, and ensuring cost-effective logistics operations. To succeed in the role, you need to thrive with both setting direction, creating structure, and actively contributing to daily planning matters. In the role you will be responsible for: Developing and leading the overall planning function within Martin & Servera Logistics. Having personnel, operational, and budget responsibility. Ensuring efficient staffing and capacity planning between our warehouses. Driving shared working methods, processes, and key metrics. Responsibility for planning seasonal peaks and major campaigns. Developing and maintaining planning systems and governing processes. Ensuring quality and reliability in planning and operational data. Driving analysis, monitoring, and operational development through data-driven insights. Leading improvement work in close collaboration with operations. Responsibility for budget basis and resource planning. Collaborating with union representatives and translating collective agreements into practical planning. Supporting operations management and local management groups. Responsibility for decisions regarding operational monitoring and reporting. As a person, you're structured, solution-oriented, and experienced in prioritizing in a high-pace environment with many contact points. To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you: Have relevant university or engineering degree in logistics, industrial economics, or engineering. Have several years of experience in leading roles within logistics, supply chain, production, or planning. Have experience with staffing and capacity planning in a complex operation. Have good experience with planning systems, preferably Ortec or equivalent. Have excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven monitoring, preferably in Power BI. Have experience developing processes, working methods, and organizations. Have worked with LEAN and continuous improvements. Have experience leading through other leaders and collaborating across functions. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Your Workplace: The position can be based at one of our warehouses in Halmstad, Norrköping, Enköping, and Umeå. We would prefer that you have your base in Halmstad, but placement location can be discussed based on the right candidate's circumstances.
