Your Responsibilities
As a planner at Metso, you will work from our office in Ludvika, working closely with both customers and colleagues to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance operations. You play a central role in ensuring efficient and sustainable solutions through technical support, problem-solving, and preventive maintenance in the form of inspections and recommendations.
The role includes planning and managing maintenance shutdowns, responsibility for local installations and startup support, as well as training customers in basic service and maintenance. You will also help identify improvement opportunities and recommend products and solutions that create added value for the customer. In addition, you work with reporting, documentation, compilations, and assist with billing.
Experience reading drawings and technical specifications is a merit. Safety is an integral part of the work, and conducting risk assessments and reporting and following up on risks are part of the preventive safety work. During maintenance shutdowns, you are responsible for project management and coordination of shift personnel.
Our customers are primarily located in Sweden, but travel within the Nordic region and occasionally internationally may occur.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions as you settle into the position. Within the Metso Group, support is available as a qualified resource. It is important to have the ability to work effectively and safely with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with technical education or equivalent experience from industry. If you have worked in mining operations, plant operations, or maintenance, we see this as a major plus. As a person, you are well-organized, communicative, and have the ability to plan and organize your work in an efficient manner. You thrive on taking initiative, see opportunities for improvement, and are motivated by developing in a role where you are challenged and grow with the business.
You will receive thorough introduction to the role as well as training and certification through Metso's internal certification program. Parts of the introduction may be conducted at another location in Europe. A driver's license with at least category B is required for this position.
