Daugavpils Iespēju vidusskola is seeking a Preschool Education Teacher. Job Duties: 1. Implement the preschool education program; 2. Ensure high-quality pedagogical processes, taking into account each child's age, health status, development, and individuality; 3. Create opportunities to expand the Latvian language environment in groups, preschool settings, and extracurricular activities; 4. Provide support to children to help them overcome socio-emotional difficulties; 5. Help develop trusting mutual relationships and promote language and cultural acquisition in a positive environment; 6. Support other educators in daily work and facilitate a successful transition to unified preschool; 7. Balance diverse needs and interests of preschool students in the classroom, ensuring inclusive education and optimizing the learning process; 8. Carry out instructions from the school director, deputy director, methodologist, and medical personnel; 9. Conduct individual work with preschool students to promote their comprehensive development, strengthen health, build necessary skills and abilities, and address adaptation issues; 10. Cooperate with parents to provide support to preschool students in the educational process and socialization matters; 11. Monitor preschool students' developmental progress and conduct self-analysis of work; 12. Ensure the safety of preschool students and compliance with the school's internal regulations; 13. Plan work and inform the school administration of work results in the prescribed manner; 14. Participate in school pedagogical council meetings and other meetings related to educational and upbringing work; 15. Maintain documentation in accordance with the school's requirements; 16. Immediately report to the school administration, law enforcement agencies, health protection institutions, and child protection agencies about cases of emotional or physical violence against students in or outside the school; 17. Improve professional competencies; 18. Observe work procedures and ethical standards; 19. Follow instructions from the school director and immediate supervisor. Education and Qualifications Required: Education in accordance with regulatory acts regarding required teacher education and professional qualifications and procedures for professional development of educators. Competencies and Skills Required: 1. Knowledge of legal acts regulating education; 2. Knowledge of educational and upbringing work content; 3. Understanding of developmental characteristics of students' age groups and principles of communication psychology; 4. Commitment to continuous learning in accordance with the latest pedagogical and psychological developments and current issues in education within the unified European education area; 5. Decision-making ability; 6. Ability to plan and organize one's own work and students' work in accordance with the school's goals and objectives; 7. Communication and cooperation skills: 7.1. Psychological resilience and high communication culture; 7.2. Ability to establish professional cooperation with school staff, students, their parents, and employees of other institutions; 7.3. Ability to work in a team; 7.4. Ability to respond to students' needs; 7.5. Ability to motivate students; 8. Self-assessment skills; 9. State language proficiency at the highest level; 10. Ability to work with office equipment and information technology. Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for compliance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Child Protection Law, the Education Law, the General Education Law, and other regulatory acts governing the school's operations; 2. Responsible for conscientious, high-quality, and timely fulfillment of duties and work results; 3. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of information about students provided by school staff and parents; 4. Responsible for students' safety, health, and creating a psychologically favorable environment during lessons and activities; 5. Responsible for treating school staff, students, and their parents with respect; 6. Responsible for decisions made and their consequences; 7. Responsible for timeliness, accuracy, and truthfulness of provided information; 8. Complies with the school's work regulations and other internal regulatory acts; 9. Responsible for improving professional competencies; 10. Responsible for preservation and appropriate use of entrusted material assets. Rights: 1.
