Job Description Do you want to inspire children and young people to develop through music? We are now seeking a piano teacher for a temporary position at Upplands-Bro Cultural School. As a piano teacher with us, you will teach children and young people ages 6–19 years. The position also includes teaching ensemble and, as needed, accompanying students at concerts, performances, and other events. You will be part of a committed team where collaboration and development are in focus, and together we create inspiring meeting places for children and young people's creative expression. We strive to provide our students with high-quality instruction characterized by joy, participation, and engaging learning. As a teacher, you are expected to contribute to the cultural school's development and collaborate with colleagues in various art forms. We are seeking someone who: - has training as a music teacher or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent - has piano as your primary instrument - has documented experience teaching children and young people at different levels, preferably within a cultural school or equivalent activity - has broad musical competence - has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - has good digital competence and is comfortable using digital tools in your work It is an advantage if you: - have experience teaching and performing music in various genres, such as classical music, jazz, rock, and pop - have experience with ensemble instruction We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are a committed and confident educator who finds it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work independently, take responsibility for your assignment, and enjoy collaborating to contribute to the development of the activity. About the Position This is a temporary position at 100% during the fall semester 2026. We would like you to start on August 10, 2026, but the start date can be adjusted by agreement.
