Job Responsibilities
Petrus Magni School is looking for you if you are interested in working together with colleagues, are engaged in student learning, interested in school development, and want to teach in a school of the future.
Your job responsibilities include teaching mathematics and science, where you are expected to plan, implement, and follow up on your instruction. The position includes teaching in the school's special education group.
We work with collaborative learning within subject areas (Math/Science) where we support, develop, and inspire each other. Developing students' sense of responsibility and participation is a high priority, as is fostering students' interest and enthusiasm for our subjects. You will be part of a work team and a subject team.
The position also includes serving as a mentor alongside two mentor colleagues.
Qualifications
You must be a certified teacher in Math/Science for grades 7-9, preferably with certification to teach physics and technology.
