Latvijas Kara muzejs (Reg. Apply if you have: Academic higher or professional higher education in history (preference given to candidates with higher education in history); at least 2 years of experience working in a museum in an equivalent position and knowledge of Latvian Republic regulatory acts governing museum operations; experience working with the National Museum Collection Master Catalog or similar digital collection management system; state language knowledge at the highest level, as well as knowledge of at least one foreign language; management, planning, cooperation skills and organizational abilities; accuracy, high communication culture; ability to make decisions and take responsibility; positive attitude toward work. Your main responsibilities will be: lead and coordinate the work of the Museum Collection Department's Collection Storage Division; ensure preservation of the Museum collection in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 956 "Regulations on the National Collection" ensure service to Museum collection visitors and those interested in the Museum collection; participate in Museum collection evaluation and supplementation of accounting information; participate in collection committee meetings; participate in collection inventory audits.
