The Swedish Public Employment Service is seeking a dedicated and responsible personnel security specialist with solid experience for the Security, Risk and Preparedness unit. Unit Mission The unit creates conditions for the agency's work on security, preparedness, internal governance and control, and risk management, which contributes to a well-functioning labor market – in peace, crisis, and ultimately in war. The unit is responsible for coordinated governance within the security field and for developing, monitoring, and supporting the agency's security work. The unit consists of three sections: Security and Internal Investigation, Security Protection and Preparedness, and Risk. Job Description As a personnel security specialist, you will: Work operatively in an event-driven operation but also in longer-term, preventive work. Work with threat and risk assessments/analyses in connection with security incidents, for example threats and violence against employees related to the exercise of official duties. Provide support and advice to managers and HR partners on matters concerning employee protection, travel security, and event security. Collaborate with other government agencies and relevant external actors to maintain good personnel security. Contribute to strengthening the agency's systematic security work, primarily linked to core operations and the local perspective in meetings with people. The section needs a personnel security specialist with documented experience in physical security and/or travel security, which we consider a merit. The section is in a development phase and will grow, so it is important to be able and willing to contribute to development work. The position is classified for security purposes, and a security clearance with background check will be conducted before an employment decision is made. Basic Requirements for the Position University degree in personnel security, risk and crisis management, or other training in the security field, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer. At least 2 years of documented work experience, during the last 5-year period, that has given you the ability and suitability to handle the work tasks. Current experience in developing risk and threat analyses. Current experience working in a supportive and advisory capacity within personnel security work/employee protection. Current experience collaborating with public administration on security work. Good knowledge of the Office package. Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish. Other Merits for the Position Current experience working in public administration. Current experience with operational personnel security work/employee protection matters.
