We are looking for you who wants to make a real difference in the daily life of a happy, curious and energetic 6-year-old who has significant support and security needs around the clock. She loves play, mischief and closeness – and with the right people around her, she truly thrives!
About the role:
Our 6-year-old has a functional disability and uses a tracheostomy and feeding tube, among other things. She therefore needs assistance around the clock from secure and committed adults who can be both a playmate and calm support.
The girl has a hearing impairment and communicates using sign language, this is not a requirement to know (you learn as you go along)
We are looking for both:
Full-time Monday - Friday daytime
A personal assistant for overnight care approximately every other weekend
We are looking for you who:
* Still has a child's heart and enjoys playing, laughing and being creative
* Is secure, responsible and calm in demanding situations
* Has experience with personal assistance is a plus but not a requirement – interpersonal chemistry is most important, experience working with children, and preferably knowledge of tracheostomy (but the right person can also receive training)
* Speaks good Swedish
Most importantly, you have your heart in the right place and want to be an important part of a child's life.
Work hours:
Varying day, evening, weekend and night shifts.
Currently we are specifically looking for a person for daytime shifts Monday - Friday
The position is a parental leave cover with possibility of permanent employment.
Location: The position is based in the home and during daytime you are with the girl at school.
