You must be over 20 years old and energetic and alert. A 37-year-old woman is seeking personal assistants. She needs a responsible and confident person by her side during all her waking hours. Daytime: dual staffing (7.5 hours). The client has autism and developmental disabilities. We communicate using pictures and signs as support. Experience with this is a merit, as is experience with low-affect interactions and the ability to work pedagogically and follow instructions. However, this is not a requirement—willingness to learn and personal suitability are most important!
