Omsorgsgruppen is now seeking personal assistants for a new male client living in Hällestad. Please note that strong English skills are a requirement for this position, as communication takes place in English. German language skills are highly desirable. The client has extensive support needs and requires assistance with all personal care and daily living activities. Work is always performed with double staffing during daytime shifts, meaning you will be two assistants working together during each shift. This role is for you if you appreciate structure, calm, and continuity. You need to be comfortable with varying pace and occasional quieter moments. About the Role As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the client's daily life. Your mission is to create safety, provide support in all daily activities, and contribute to a calm and predictable environment. Job responsibilities include: - Personal care and support with Activities of Daily Living - Following and creating clear daily routines - Support with activities and leisure - Contributing to a safe and structured daily life - Collaboration with colleague during all day shifts The client can sometimes become overstimulated, which may manifest as anxiety. In these situations, it is important that you work with a calm and low-affect approach. Clear routines and a secure manner help the client return to calmness. Classical music, nature, and horses are things the client enjoys and which can contribute to wellbeing. You will receive thorough introduction and ongoing support so you feel secure in your role.
